Almost 3 years ago I wrote a blog post where I showcased my Organized Farmhouse Pantry. That system of mostly using baskets to house items in the pantry, worked well until my Mom moved in with us last year. My husband and I thought it was only right that she get an entire shelf to herself for her items. That meant we needed to eliminate the baskets to afford us the extra space and I have to say, chaos ensued. The beauty of my former streamlined pantry system took a back seat to a hodgepodge of items, scattered about. A few weeks ago my Mom moved down to her newly renovated basement apartment in our home and I was able to reclaim all of my coveted pantry space, so I knew it was the perfect opportunity to not only organize but update my pantry area. Taking My Vanity From Bleak to Chic With Reorganization and Revamping

Let me cut to the chase here. I'm tired. When I signed up to do a blogging competition, that required me to write a blog post, every week day in the month of July, starting on the 6th of the month, I knew it would be challenging but I needed the challenge, to push me forward in my blogging journey and honestly it has. However, I'm like dead blogger walking. I still want to have quality content, that teaches something, that makes you think, that gives you nice visuals. My ideas are abundant but the work that accompanies the kind of content I like to put out, is draining. DIY projects, the absolute gift and the curse. You read a blog or watch a detailed Youtube video, with step by step instructions on how to accomplish this easy project. Easy, it's so easy! Yet, after you've spent your hard earned cash gathering all these supplies from the Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Home Depot, Lowe's, Facebook MarketPlace and the neighborhood yard sale, your alleged uncomplicated DIY, has you sweating, frustrated and is the equivalent of Theo Huxtable's, Gordon Gartrell shirt on The Cosby Show. Hashtag big fail. That being said, you won't want to pull your hair out with this simple hat organizer. Organized Farmhouse Pantry

It’s Farmhouse Fri-yay! I am one who loves all things farmhouse, which is why my home, dubbed The Chateau, is all about farmhouse decor. When you’ve spent 15 months building a home, it needs a name and a bougie one so Le Chateau it is! While building my home, my builder brought up the idea of an open pantry just off the kitchen, to stay in line with the European farmhouse theme.
